Conference

At Global Leadership Conference, we are not letting the pandemic stop us from connecting with one another. We have designed the conference to maximise connectivity and inspiration while meeting online. The Elders will be sharing their heart and vision for the movement, and there will be ministering and inspiration. We will also be creating opportunities for all of you to connect across the globe, encouraging one another with your faith-filled stories. This is an exciting opportunity to come together as we also do.

Session 1 of the GLC will be tailored especially for HIM leaders as Pastor Wilson, our new HIM President will be sharing from his heart and his passion for God’s kingdom. We have set aside time to answer any questions you might have during “Q&A Time”. So be prepared to be inspired by the stories and challenged by the call of God on our movement. 

Dr Wilson Lim

Dr Wilson Lim is the founder and senior pastor of Hope Church (Queensland), and is the President of Hope International Ministries. Pastor Wilson is also the chairman of the community service organisation Australia Care and Trauma Services (ACTS). His passion is teaching, equipping leaders and building the church. He holds a MTh in Applied Theology, PhD in Engineering and was a research scientist with CSIRO. He is happily married to co-founding pastor, Lai Ling, and they have three children.

It has been more than 365 days since we last met and Pastor Simon is bursting with excitement to share words of wisdom, dignity and of exhortation during Session 2 of the GLC. He will also be ministering after his preaching so be prepared to be heartened, encouraged and stirred by the dreams that God will lay in your heart for His kingdom.

Ps Simon Eng

Pastor Simon Eng is married to Lai Eng and they have three children. Pastor Simon serves as an Elder of Hope International Ministries (HIM).  Before serving as full-time minister, he studied engineering in Melbourne, Australia then worked as a general manager for a listed company in Malaysia .  He also serves as the Senior Pastor of HIM churches in Malaysia. He is fatherly and travels widely to care for HIM pastors.

Jump in for a time of practical and inspiring pioneering insights with Ps Marcus Rose, Ps Simon Eng and Ps Wilson Lim, followed by an in-depth dive into the life of one of the most successful pioneers in Church history.  This special time will be facilitated by Ps Denis Lu.

Translations

Love has no barriers, though in physical form, we do have to make some effort. We cannot do much regarding the different time zones, however, we could ease in on the language aspect, if you are logging in live during the sessions, we will be providing live translations for Thai, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia/ Indonesian.

This event is open to pastors, coordinators and leaders of HIM family of churches only.
